Pastor James A. Reese an anointed Mentor, Composer, Arranger and
Instrumentalist for the Kingdom of God used over fifty "Hand Picked"
Musicians and Singers to produce this exciting CD… Music with the
Master’s Purpose in Mind. This CD contains 15 powerful original songs
(no filler selections) of praise, worship, thanksgiving and adoration that
were created to yield priceless spiritual benefits to all that hear it.
A former Public School Music Educator, Pastor Reese spent several years
as a professional tour musician. He toured as a trombonist in many bands
and orchestras throughout the United States and other countries. These
bands accompanied a number of well-known entertainers such as
Hamilton Bohannon, James Brown, Al Green, The Temptations, Diana
Ross and The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Teddy Pendergrass, The Jackson
Five and others. Knowing that he was in a position that would allow him
to further his skills as an arranger and total musician, James remained
humble, and kept his ears and eyes open. Throughout this great recording
his vast musical experience is very evident.
James Reese’s life began to change while on tour with The Jackson Five:
A fellow trombonist told him that he needed to surrender his life totally to Jesus
Christ. Six weeks later James made that life changing decision and never looked
back.
Presently, he is on the Pastoral staff at Evangel Cathedral in
Spartanburg, South Carolina where he serves as Associate Pastor Music,
Arts and Community Outreach.
Let us remember: All glory and honor goes to God, the Master Creator.
Frankly, God created all of the arts with His divine purpose in mind.
